Fives ST Corp actively seeking a full-time, Director of Digital Sales to join its teams in Wadsworth, Ohio.

The company specializes in coil finishing lines that include surface treatment systems, as well as reheating furnaces, cold rolling mills, and digital solutions for the metal processing industry all over the world.

We are currently seeking a Director of Digital Sales, who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it!

At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to :

  • Lead the business development and sales activities from end-to-end
  • Initiate new prospects and opportunities through meetings and contacts at all levels of the customers’ organizations.
  • Identify key contacts and build relationship at working and leadership levels, including sponsors at technical / expert level and decision makers.
  • Build and sustain commercial plan at existing and new customers, in close partnership with Digital Factory team in France.
  • Understand customers’ needs and the value of Fives digital solutions.
  • Present the Fives digital solutions and clearly articulate their added value as they relate to customers’ operations.
  • Work with the customer and the Fives team based in Europe to determine the solution that best addresses the customer’s needs and objectives.
  • Prepare commercial proposals.
  • Understand and adapt contracts to customers practices and budgets (OPEX / CAPEX, performance-based contracts, license contracts, etc.)
  • Negotiate and close contracts.
  • Participate in marketing events such as Conferences and to make presentations to the industry.
  • Gather commercial intelligence and in particular information about competition and their solutions.
  • Understand the market and participate in the elaboration of the Sales strategy for the Fives Steel Digital Factory (business models, commercial channels, contracting schemes, partnerships, )

At Fives ST Corp and under the direction of the Global Digital Team manager, you will join the Digital Sales team.

  • We are seeking someone who has;
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science Engineering
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the steel industry or industrial software preferably in the field of industrial processes or automation
  • Experience with thermal processing of metal products
