The IT Business Analyst position is responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting, the systems, software, and technical processes of our corporate employees and managed clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in general IT operations and client support
- Build and maintain relationships with other departments to create and drive initiatives
- Participate in planning and implementing systems automation as required for better efficiency and improved support
- Analyze business process to develop efficiencies and automation
- Conduct assessments to ensure process are achieving the desired effect
- Develop and maintain documentation for supported applications, processes, and training material for internal employees and IT staff
- Provide training to clients and staff
- Provide operations support including account management, log analysis, troubleshooting and service optimization
- Install network cabling.
- Create and Install Wireless Networks.
- Visit client sites for troubleshooting, support, and repair as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in technology
- Adhere to the company’s confidentiality policies
- Able to lift 40-50 lbs. as necessary
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by management
Skills required for this position include
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office products especially Office
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects
- Familiarity with networks, switches, routers, and cabling
- Familiarity with (VOIP) telephone systems
- The ability to work in a team environment and on independent projects
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- High attention to detail in planning, reporting and execution of assigned work
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and equipment maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Beneficial skills include
- Experience with Fiber Optic Cables and Connections,
- The ability to effectively communicate technical information in English and Spanish
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree in computer related field or equivalent education / work experience, is preferred.
