Job Overview - How You'll Contribute :
The H+H Group is growing our Team at the Omaha Recon Center (ORC)! We have a BRAND-NEW, State-of-the-Art Facility which is now open in the Steel Ridge Auto Mall! We are looking to add a Flag Hour, Mechanical Reconditioning Technician to join our Team! In this role you will work on basic repairs, such as tires, brakes, and routine, light-duty maintenance.
You will need a basic set of automotive tools, a quality mindset, and desire to work with a fast-paced team of outstanding Technicians! Pay with minimum experience starts at $ Additional compensation based on experience.
- Repair problems in a vehicle, and refer the vehicle to another technician if necessary.
- Receive the repair order from the shop production manager, and return it to him when the work is finished.
- Verify the 3 C’s are present on every repair order. (Complaint, Cause, Correction)
- Test-drive the vehicle to ensure the work is fixed right the first time.
- Perform work as safely and efficiently as possible.
Qualifications - What You Need to be Successful :
- The ability to read, and comprehend information and perform calculations.
- The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
- Perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and other maneuvers associated with the position.
- Operate a motor vehicle cautiously and safely.
- Lift / move items up to 100 lbs.
- Operate motor vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
- Operate necessary equipment, both manual, and power driven in a safe manner.
