Job Description
Summary
A Vendor Compliance lead is responsible for identifying and investigating discrepant material. This position is responsible for investigating for root cause, utilizing specifications and standards to highlight nonconformance as well as communicating these issues and concerns with our vendors and initiate and follow up on Discrepant Material Reports.
In addition to the Vendor Compliance roles and responsibilities, this position controls all outbound, non-usable material and ensures all material are documented and recorded accurately before being disposed of.
Responsibilities
- Investigate suspect material.
- Communicate issues and areas of concern with vendors as well as internal / external customers.
- Follow up with vendors on previous issues.
- Ability to provide coaching to team members on quality when needed.
- Willingness to learn and follow directions.
- Adhere to MBC processes and procedures.
- Able to multitask.
- Responsible for following safety processes and procedures.
- Maintain control of all material exit points.
- Remain organized and complete tasks methodically.

Qualifications
Requirements
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Have good attention to details.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Flexible and open to working other areas of Quality Department on as needed basis.
- Ability to multitask.
- Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to navigate and populate information in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to send, read, forward items in Microsoft Outlook.
Strong organizational skills
- Previous experience working in quality preferred.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply. Must be able to convert fractions to decimals.
- Strong English communication skills - verbal, written & presentation.
- Must take and pass a intro level Microsoft Excel skill assessment test.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, push, pull and bend up to 50lbs
