The Purpose of Your Role
You ll be part of the core team responsible for designing and developing microservices which can service large volume of data and to be able to integrate with other distributed systems in a scalable manner.
You will adopt a Fintech mindset to help build the modern data platforms and data access layer using service-oriented architecture principles.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Extensive experience with core Java technologies
- Extensive experience with Spring and Spring Boot
- 6+ years of software development experience using in Java, Spring, middle tier restful services
- Experience with Cloud technologies including AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.
- You have a passion for technology and can navigate your way across complex and rapidly changing landscapes by staying on top of latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge.
- Strong understanding of CI / CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy; deploying applications in a DevOps environment
- Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in meaningful discussions.
- Proficiency in databases, SQL Secure design and coding practices.

The Skills You Bring
- Deep hands-one experience with containerized Java / SpringBoot REST APIs using Kubernetes / AWS EKS
- Hands on experience in container-based development (Docker)
- Hands on experience in Hibernate ORM / JDBC / Connection Pooling etc
- Experience in implementing Micro services Architecture & building / deploying highly automated, scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
- Experience with Financial services and Brokerage domain is a plus.
- Proven technical skills as an individual contributor.
- Ensuring the effectiveness of code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing completeness

Fidelity's working model
blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
