Position Summary :

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the production floor during their designated shift.

You will ensure that production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and employee safety is prioritized.

This role is pivotal in managing and leading a team of employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinates daily production activities including job assignments and rotations.
• Meets with the Team Leader prior to shift start-up to understand the current line and production state, absentee / tardiness call-ins, and changes to normal employee work areas / equipment.
• Together with the Team Leader, holds daily pre-shift meetings to inform Production Associates of any changes, to communicate daily requirements and to promote involvement in issues affecting employees or their work areas.
• Ensures TPM / Daily Care activities, safety checks, tip changes, etc. are completed properly and as scheduled.
• Ensures that operators are trained, qualified, and capable of performing assigned duties.
• Other duties as assigned in job description or by Dept. Manager.
