We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring all invoices are accurately coded and entered into the system.
• Perform check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Reconcile discrepancies by working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Handle the full cycle of invoice processing, from receipt to final payment.
• Maintain accurate records of financial data and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Work with Abila MIP software to manage accounts payable tasks efficiently.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Assist in improving processes and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.
• Proven experience in accounts payable, including full-cycle processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with Abila MIP software is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and processing.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with vendors and team members.
• Previous experience in the non-profit sector is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
