Job description
A company is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager who oversees the accounts payable processes and supervises a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily AP operations, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and disbursements
Supervise a team of Accounts Payable Processors to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks
Manage weekly payment runs and maintain the integrity of the AP subledger and vendor records
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
3-5 years of relevant accounting / AP experience, including 1-2 years of supervisory experience
Experience with Sage Intacct, SAP Concur, and AVID preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger systems
Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls related to accounts payable
