About the Role:
ofi’ s summer internship program is a great way to gain relevant experience to jump-start your career. As a Summer 2026 Intern, you will have opportunities to learn and contribute to what’s on trend in food & beverage while building a robust network, demonstrating leadership skills, and having fun.
As a Supply Chain Planning and Analytics Intern, you will collaborate closely with the Industrial Spices team by building and improving analytics products that enable the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and service visibility. The role focuses on turning operational data into reliable reporting and insights, while also mapping current business processes to identify gaps and translate them into clear analytics and reporting requirements.
At the completion of the internship, you will deliver a final presentation to senior leadership showcasing key insights, outcomes, and recommended next steps.
Ideal candidates are curious problem-solvers with desire to learn in a fast-paced environment with strong stakeholder-engagement and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain analytics tools, models, and dashboards in Excel and Power BI/Power Query to support the overall S&OP process and service visibility.
- Clean, transform, and validate large operational datasets (often sourced from SAP/ERP exports and operational inputs) and help standardize/refresh recurring reporting.
- Help test and document KPI logic (e.g., OTIF execution date/tolerance/exception logic) by creating test cases, reconciling outputs, and summarizing issues for handoff to technical teams.
- Facilitate and document business process mapping: participate in process walkthroughs, create process maps/flows and SOP-style documentation, and identify process gaps and analytics/data needs.
- Produce clear user-facing documentation and training aids to improve adoption and ensure analytics outputs are understood and used consistently.
- Analyze data outputs to identify potential drivers of gaps to KPIs and their respective targets; summarize findings in concise, stakeholder-ready updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- Currently pursuing an MBA or master’s degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and learning digital tools
- Experience with MS Suite (Advanced, Power Platform; exposure to SQL or Python required.
- Interest in AI, workflow transformation, and operational strategy.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and data protection
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Analytics, Data/Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related.
- Advanced Excel (tables, pivots, formulas, data cleaning); comfort working with large datasets.
- Working knowledge or exposure to Power BI and/or Power Query (M) fundamentals (can be academic/project-based).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; process-oriented and curious; high attention to detail.
- Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

The pay for this role in the state of IL or CA is $22-50/hour and is based on position responsibilities and geographic location. Interns with a permanent address more than 35 miles from the work location are eligible for a stipend to offset relocation and housing costs. This position requires the ability to work on-site at the assigned location for 10-12 weeks during the summer of 2026.
