SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday

  • 1st shift 6:30am-5:00pm
  • 2nd shift 5:00pm-2:30am

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Manufacturing Production Worker for a fast growing, fast paced tool and die facility.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities required for qualified individual:

  • Gather and arrange materials needed for production.
  • Catch and sort parts at the end of a stamping press.
  • Count parts and prepare for shipment.
  • Clear scrap after part runs.
  • Downtime shop maintenance including sweeping and cleaning equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications/Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year of manufacturing work experience

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Operate the following equipment:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring physical strength and stamina.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use judgment and initiative in selecting the most effective work methods/tools to determine a proper course of action to achieve the best possible result.


Physical Demands:

  • Physical effort required.
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility.
  • Continuous lifting required – up to 40 lbs.
  • Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Safety Glasses required on the shop floor.
  • Protective gloves and arm sleeves to guard against sharp edges
  • Other protective equipment available in tool crib
  • Work Environment:
  • Work performed on the manufacturing floor and around the facility.

  • Attendance and Dependability: The employee can be depended on to report to work at the scheduled time and is seldom absent from work. Employee can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and is conscientious about assignments.
