Controller - Denver, Colorado
Our client, a leading international consulting firm specializing in the mining industry, is seeking a Controller to join their team in Denver, Colorado. This exciting opportunity places you at the heart of their North American finance group, reporting directly to the North American CFO. With operations spanning six continents and a robust team of professionals, our client is recognized for their commitment to excellence and innovation in their field.
Key Responsibilities
As Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations and driving strategic financial management. Your responsibilities will include :
Financial Oversight and Reporting
- Lead all finance, accounting, and reporting activities
- Develop and maintain effective financial controls to measure and enhance company performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Oversee payroll processing and manage employee benefits evaluations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Compliance and Coordination
Team Leadership and Development
System and Process Management
Travel and Work Flexibility
