Job Summary :
The primary duties of the General Laborer are to safely assist crews with various types of construction projects. Projects range from performance contracting, energy efficiency retrofit, and backup / supplemental power distribution generator equipment emplacement. The General Laborer will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of his / her crew members along with the timely completion of each project they are assigned. Laborers need to have the ability to communicate with residents and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
Minimum Qualifications : (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills) :
- Minimum one year of experience as a general laborer or skilled trades apprentice.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to proficiently read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must be willing and able to travel 75-85%+ as required (driving company vehicle and / or fly commercially if necessary).
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of construction processes.

Work environment may include, but are not limited to the following : Exposure to weather in varying climates, exposure to noise intensity levels, exposure to energized electrical equipment, exposure to overhead hazards (crane & rigging), and exposure to heavy machinery.
