Job description
A company is looking for a Credit Resolution Specialist responsible for investigating and resolving credit receivable balances.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and research credit balances to distinguish true credits from false credits
Process patient refunds and correct data entry errors while adhering to established protocols
Communicate with relevant staff to resolve account issues and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician's office or medical environment
Experience in Urology physician practice environment preferred
License and certification as required by state
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare coding systems, including CPT and HCPCS
