Job Description :
Looking for experienced, hard working, positive thinking, self-motivated, and innovative, Database Architect to help define best practice for performance, availability, recoverability, and security for our data solutions and utilities. This position will include testing out new data solutions for viable use within the enterprise. It will also include working with multiple development teams on multiple projects to provide consult, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and / or design as is needed. After hour on-call work will also be required as needed to troubleshoot production issues. Teamwork, good work ethic, flexibility with fast pace change, and an attention to detail is an absolute necessity. Overall, a great opportunity to challenge your data intellect through working with others on multiple projects and creating and evolving solutions to meet the ever-changing tech industry.
Key Skillsets with SIGNIFICANT IN-DEPTH EXPERIENCE. Looking for individuals with APPLIED Knowledge, not just theoretical in the following areas :
REQUIRED
- Data Mapping, Cataloging, Classification.
- Data Catalog / Scanning solutions (IE. Azure Purview, Collibra, Alation, Varonis, ....)
- SQL Server Architecture (Versions 2016 R2 or greater)
Security (TLS, Encryption Experience with TDE via EKM, Always Encrypted column level Encryption,...)
Azure Data Analytics / Science and Tools (One or more : Databricks, Azure SQL Synapse, ...)
NICE TO HAVE
Architecture : Design, Security, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup and Recovery in other data solutions(Oracle, MySQL, PostGres)
