Title: Developer/Software Engineer
Duration: 18 months - 7/29/2026 - 1/28/2028 + possibility of extensions

Work Schedule: M-Th Onsite, F Remote
Must be willing to relocate/work onsite week 1 (2 weeks' notice from time of offer accept)

Responsibilities:
Architect & Build: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) that support premium reservations and integrated sales capabilities.
Lead Enterprise Integration: Own the integration architecture connecting Salesforce to Disney's enterprise platforms and services, building and maintaining reliable REST/SOAP-based interfaces and data flows.
Drive Data & Query Design: Write efficient, well-structured SOQL/SOSL queries and data models that scale with guest volume and system complexity.
Modernize Development Practices: Use Git-based version control and Salesforce DX (scratch orgs, source-driven development) to bring modern DevOps discipline to the platform.
AI-Augmented Development: Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Agile Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Project Management, and cross-functional engineering teams across DLR and WDW to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Mentor & Build Capability: Help establish internal Salesforce expertise on the team, sharing knowledge and reducing long-term dependency on external vendors.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on Salesforce platform development.
Strong proficiency in Apex, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Experience designing, building, and consuming REST/SOAP APIs for enterprise system integration.
Solid command of SOQL and SOSL for data modeling and query optimization.
Experience with Git version control and Salesforce DX (scratch orgs, source-driven development).
Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate technical designs and communicate trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certification(s) such as Platform Developer I/II or Application Architect.
Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise reservation, ticketing, or hotel property management platforms.
Experience in travel, hospitality, or theme park/resort technology environments.
Experience partnering with or overseeing the deliverables of external development vendors.
Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical design discussions.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field of study; and/or equivalent work experience.
