Salary : 65000-75000 Annually
Charlotte Center City Partners is seeking a talented and experienced Event Producer / Planner to provide leadership and event operations support as part of our annual program in Uptown and South End. This position will connect with our community through diverse and inclusive events, demonstrating our commitment to boldly envision and activate strategies that ensure Charlotte Center City is welcoming, equitable, economically vibrant, culturally rich, and beloved by all. You will partner with individuals, businesses, and other collaborative organizations to make Center City a memorable place to live, work, and play.
Responsibilities :
- On-site Management : Oversee Center City Partners programs and events, ensuring inclusive, diverse, and exceptional experiences. Coordination includes setup / strike, site design and layout, comprehensive production schedules, vendor contracting, and more.
- Manage Tryon Street Mall : Oversee vendor & banner program in conjunction with CDOT liaison. Evaluate program integrity, vendor locations, and vendor categories; recommend additions or deletions to overall program; maintain working relationship with vendors to manage issues as they arise.
- Lead Producer : Function as Lead Producer for specific programs or events as directed by the Chief Creative Officer (CCO).
- Budget Management : Manage event production and operations budgets, including tracking and reporting, collaborating with team members to streamline budget needs, and assisting with contract negotiation and review.
- Team Communication : Develop and provide consistent messaging to the E Team to drive excellence in event processes, including logistics, volunteer management, budget management, training, resource development, and policies and procedures.
- Innovation : Partner on the development of innovative event operations best practices, tools, and resources.
- Collaboration : Build a network of collaboration and support to ensure smooth and efficient event execution, enhancing attendee experience and corporate partnership development.
- Relationship Management : Maintain strong and positive relationships with staff, board members, stakeholders, and third-party partners.
