Job Title : Insurance Authorizations Specialist

Location : Hybrid (Tuesday–Wednesday in office, other days remote) – Lewisville, TX

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM or 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Industry : Healthcare – Medical Billing / Authorizations

Compensation :

• Pay Rate : $21–$23 per hour
• Type of Assignment : 6-month contract-to-hire

About the Role :

The Insurance Authorizations Specialist will manage authorizations for a range of 11–15 clinics, working directly with commercial and government insurance providers to secure and maintain authorizations for patient treatments. The position requires strong experience in handling commercial authorizations and comfort in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with a focus on professional, effective communication.

Key Responsibilities :

Obtain new authorizations and track expirations to ensure continuous patient coverage.

Attend weekly team meetings and report progress.

Work with both commercial and government insurance providers, with an emphasis on commercial authorizations.
