Position Overview

The Business Intelligence Manager, ViiV is responsible for continuously consolidating, analyzing, and reporting insights for Dovato and Rukobia to understand “what is happening with these brands today”. The Manager will work to analyze product and market trends and to identify opportunities and risks for both brands and support attainment of brand priorities. The BI Manager will work with the BI Director to be accountable for partnering with multidisciplinary teams to analyze key issues in real time and translate outputs from analyses into actionable solutions for the Dovato and Rukobia brands. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of proactively identifying potential applications of analytics and proposing solutions, rather than always reacting to business requests.The individual will need to understand the market fundamentals, competitive environment, and analytic techniques to discuss the findings with business partners.The Manager will report to the Director, Business Intelligence at ViiV.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in business, science, analytics,
  • 4+ years of Healthcare industry experience with a focus in first and third party data analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex dynamics affecting HIV treatment
  • Experience in reporting and communicating complex information in a clear and incisive way

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a high level of initiative and a strong ability to find creative solutions to challenging unstructured situations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities / timelines and operate in a fast moving and very changeable environment without day to day oversight
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and interpersonal influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and successfully manage high impact projects and initiatives, excel within a matrix work environment, and effectively interact with all levels of management
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, with expert-level Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience monitoring evolving pharmaceutical landscape and gathering insights to support pharmaceutical initiatives
  • Understanding of the HIV therapeutic area is preferred
