Clyde & Co seeks an Office Manager to support our Kansas City office. The Office Manager will take full responsibility for the smooth running of the office, managing everything from office supplies and vendor relationships to event coordination and maintenance. This person will need to be hospitable, a problem-solver, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You'll be the backbone of the office, ensuring operations are efficient, employees are supported, and that our workspace remains welcoming and productive.
Key Responsibilities :
Office & Administrative :
- Office Operations Oversight : Take full responsibility for the day-to-day office operations, managing both administrative and operational needs.
- Facility Management : Serve as the point of contact for cleaning, maintenance, and landlord relationships. Work with building management to address any facility concerns or maintenance needs. Proactively manage the planning and scheduling of routine office maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to office operations.
- Vendor & Service Provider Relationships : Manage relationships with service providers, including cleaning, maintenance contractors, mail and supply vendors. Ensure the firm receives high-quality and cost-effective service.
- Office Security & Technology : Ensure the office's security systems are functioning correctly and that technology is updated and operating efficiently.
- Mail & Deliveries : Receive and distribute all office mail promptly and efficiently.
- Office Supplies & Equipment : Replenish office supplies, equipment, and snacks as needed. Ensure all office tools and equipment are functioning optimally.
- Communication : Circulate relevant office-wide communications clearly and promptly.
- Space Management : Oversee the management and usage of any co-working spaces, ensuring the team has the resources they need.
- Policy Development & Implementation : Develop and maintain office policies and procedures, ensuring they are followed across the office.
- Budget Management : Manage office-related budgets and work with the Finance team for alignment and reconciliation.
- Office Presence : Maintain a regular physical presence in the office during business hours, ensuring operations run smoothly.
