Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Administrator to join our growing team in Carmel, IN. The Employee Benefits Account Administrator supports the Account Manager in servicing an assigned book of business by handling a variety of administrative, analytical, and clerical tasks. This role is responsible for preparing proposals and financial analyses, reviewing insurance documents, assisting with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), updating client records, and ensuring accurate communication with vendor partners. Strong Excel and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential to success in this role. How You Will Contribute :
- Use advanced mathematical and Microsoft Excel skills on a regular basis
- Use Microsoft PowerPoint on a regular basis, including creating templates and editing slide masters
- Review insurance contracts, proposals, and documents
- Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and submit to the marketplace
- Effectively track and monitor RFP responses
- Compare benefit plans and identify contractual similarities and differences
- Prepare comparison spreadsheets and proposals to meet the needs of the lead analyst
- Prepare and conduct financial analysis on an on-going basis for varying types of financing structures and / or projects
- Assist with risk analysis, monitoring on-going financial performance
- Identify and assist with ongoing compliance and reporting requirements Skills & Experience to Be Successful :
- One or more years industry-related (insurance, medical, audit) experience is preferred
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Advanced computer skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
