Job Description and Duties

Our Investment Talent and Culture (ITC) program area is currently recruiting for an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) position to drive our CalPERS mission and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Investment Office (INVO) business travel, performing a variety of complex analytical and administrative functions supporting all areas of the travel process.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Serve as a travel subject matter expert and resource for INVO team members.
- Execute detailed and complex pre- and post-travel processes to coordinate or review domestic and international trips, travel requests and expense claims, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with CalPERS and State guidelines, requirements, restrictions, and policies.
- Compile, analyze, prepare, and maintain detailed trip data and information in on-line travel systems, the Master Travel Log and other reports as requested.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external team members to develop, implement and update processes, procedures, resources and training materials.
