This position is a 12-month Limited-Term position that may be extended and / or become permanent.
This position is remote-centered and is eligible for telework up to 5 days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be require to report to the office as needed / required. A teleworker is considered remote-centered if they work fifty percent or more of their time from an alternate work location. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
Under direction of the Procurement Supervisor (SSM I), the incumbent is responsible for performing the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical duties in support of the department's Procurement Unit for IT and non-IT goods and services. All tasks are performed in accordance with the Procurement Unit's policies and procedures, utilizing peer resources, State Contract Manuals, State Administrative Manual, Government Code, Public Contract Code, Procurement Unit Memorandums, Broadcast Bulletins, State Contract Advisory Network meetings, Procurement Desk Manuals, the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal), Email, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Special Requirements
This position is designated under the Conflict-of-Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment. Failure to comply with the Conflict-of-Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.
