Position Description
Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to : Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.

Major / Essential Functions
Coordinates all activities related to the PhD concentrations. Works closely with each graduate student, the departmental graduate advisors and faculty. Ensures that students are enrolled each semester. Develops, maintains and refines for each compliance with program requirements. Keeps the student, advisory committee and departmental graduate advisor informed of these requirements at each stage of the student's development and follows up to ensure the student is progressing. Maintains a database of student activities and collates relevant data for reports required for accreditation purposes. Maintains data for Weave reports. Reviews grades every semester to verify continued scholarship eligibility. Maintains course files and assists with D2L as needed.
