- Create and manage tooling inventory, selection, lifecycle, cost, and structure by means of the tool management system to support efficient machining operations.
- Oversee program management for manufacturing processes, ensuring consistency and traceability across product lines.
- Troubleshoot machinery uptime issues and drive toward permanent, cost-effective, long-term solutions.
- Research, design, and develop manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods, and equipment utilization.
- Analyze products and processes to achieve cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased efficiency.
- Collaborate with quality and design engineering to define and establish process capability and control methods.
- Influential in achieving plant quality objectives and implementing engineering changes.
- Drive new product introduction (NPI) projects to ensure smooth ramp-up and integration into production.
- Maintain an active presence on the shop floor to provide hands-on support through tooling, fixturing, CAM programming, and method standardization.
- Support day-to-day production activities to meet customer product demand.
- Create and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation.
