Evergreen Enterprises is a leading manufacturer of home and garden dcor, offering one of the largest assortments of expressive, licensed, and seasonal products in the market.

We are seeking an entry-level Business Development Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, and operational insights across Evergreen's wholesale, retail, and licensed businesses. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who is eager to grow, learn, and contribute to a growth-oriented and insight-driven culture.

You will work closely with senior analysts and business leaders to translate raw data into clear insights, support strategic initiatives, and help drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Reporting Support

  • Assist in collecting, validating, and organizing data from multiple internal systems and external sources, supporting an insight-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Build, maintain, and refresh standard reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
  • Perform routine data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting outputs.
  • Document report logic, assumptions, and data sources for transparency and knowledge sharing.

Business & Financial Analysis

  • Support financial and operational analysis, including trend analysis, variance analysis, and simple forecasting.
  • Assist with reconciliations between operational data, financial reports, and source systems.
  • Compile datasets and summarize insights for executive presentations and internal reviews, helping leaders act decisively and effectively.

Operational & Strategic Support

  • Conduct research and data analysis related to new business opportunities, product initiatives, and performance reviews, contributing to a creatively led and forward-thinking organization.
  • Support due diligence efforts by gathering data, preparing structured summaries, and assisting senior analysts.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Operations, IT) to support teamwork and collaboration across the business.

Tools & Process Improvement

  • Learn Evergreen's data systems, reporting models, and business processes with a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Assist with improvements to reports, workflows, and data pipelines to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Help business users understand how to access and interpret reporting tools and dashboards.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, finance, information systems, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 02 years of experience in an analytical or data-focused role (internships, academic projects, or co-ops accepted).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning).
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts (revenue, margins, costs, income statements).
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and share insights.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.
  • Introductory experience with Python, Power Query, or data transformation tools.
  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, or financial systems.
  • Curiosity about automation, reporting efficiency, and scalable analytics, reflecting a continuous improvement mindset.
