Marketing Specialist Salinas, California

Join our collaborative marketing team to drive integrated campaigns and communications for Rijk Zwaan North America (USA and Canada). You'll partner with our International Marketing Team, focusing on campaign management, data-driven strategies, and engagement across both greenhouse and open field sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Campaign Management:
• Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns using HubSpot and other automation tools.
• Manage content calendars, email campaigns, and targeted customer communications.
• Develop data-driven campaigns, analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements.
• Communication & Content:
• Lead written communications for internal and external audiences (press releases, newsletters, corporate updates).
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
• Adapt and translate content from global teams.
• Data Analytics:
• Own marketing analytics, website performance, and campaign ROI measurement.
• Report on campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, and budget efficiency.
• Social Media & Digital Platforms:
• Develop and manage social media strategies for greenhouse and open field sectors.
• Oversee posting schedules, community engagement, and audience growth.
• Support global campaigns, tracking analytics.
• Events & Market Development:
• Support planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and company events.
• Drive attendee engagement and post-event follow-up.
• Website & SEO:
• Lead website analytics, user experience optimization, and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategy.
• Implement user experience improvements.
• Budget & Financial Analysis:
• Develop and monitor annual marketing budgets.
• Analyze campaign spending and provide actionable recommendations.
• Negotiate contracts with agencies and vendors.

We are looking for a Marketing team member who is passionate about marketing communications. With strong initiative, you approach projects proactively in an organized way and with great enthusiasm. Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude is also important in this role. To be approachable, reliable, accountable to deadlines, and follow through consistently to feel completely at home in our corporate culture. In addition, we will look for the following on your resume:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 35 years' experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing, campaign management, or communications.
• Experience in agriculture and/or data-driven marketing preferred.
• Proficiency with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEO tools, and CMS platforms (i.e., Contentful, Agora E-Commerce).
• Exceptional written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational, project management, and leadership abilities.
• Cultural sensitivity for international collaboration.

Salary Range : $78k - $85k

Rijk Zwaan USA starting base salary ranges are determined by location, role, and level and reflect a minimum and maximum target for new hires for this position across all of our US locations. Within the base salary range, an employee's pay is determined by work location and other factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
