Job description6+ years of relevant and recent experience in network wired / wireless design / build / run Thorough knowledge of the OSI Model. Palo Alto Firewall, and Global Protect management and support Experience successfully utilizing Agile / SCRUM practices Robust experience with Cisco Core / distribution / access models and the Nexus platform. VMWare NSX management and support Working knowledge of load balancer solutions Working knowledge of server-side systems and the VMWare platform. Strong skills utilizing the Cisco CLI. Ability to leverage automated and scripted network management tools. Ability to leverage multiple WAN solution types. Demonstrated analytical thinking, adaptability, enthusiasm and motivation
As a Network Engineer, you will design, build and run cost effective and highly available / performing IT solutions for on-premise and cloud networks. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the LAN, WAN and Wireless components of the network.
This position requires someone to come on-site 3-4 days a week at our Phoenix, Arizona offices.
Responsibilities :
- Cisco LAN / WAN switching and routing design / build / run.
- Cisco Wireless networking design / build / run
- Palo Alto Firewall, Global Protect administration.
- Identify and implement efficiency and automation enhancements
- Secure network resources
- On-site / remote work as needed
- Manage work through SCRUM
- New construction network design and build
- Cloud networking management and administration
