Position : Sales Market Development Manager (outside sales).
Location : Home-office based in Charlotte, NC.
Employment Type : Direct Hire
Travel : (50 - 60%) with travel encompassing VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, TN, AL, and MS
Join a global leader in the pressure relief and safety valve manufacturing industry, with over 200 years of technical expertise?
Our client, a renowned German pressure relief and safety valve manufacturer headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a dynamic individual to contribute to the success of their Sales Market Development team.
Responsibilities :
- Engagement : Cultivate relationships with end-users, OEM accounts, and Engineering, Procurement, and Constructors (EPCs) throughout the assigned territory.
- Analysis : Maintain monthly reports on target accounts, project pursuits, sales activities, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaboration : Work closely with assigned representatives, assemblers, and Local Authorized Repair Centers (LARCs) to support their sales efforts.
- Follow-up : Ensure timely completion of action items and provide ongoing feedback to management on sales progress.
- Training : Conduct product and service training sessions for customers as required.
Requirements :
Must possess very relevant Control Valves and Safety Relief Valves background.
- Both are engineered products (not commodities) and require a similar selling process and structure
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in science or business.
- Skills : Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel) with strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience : Previous experience in distributor or reseller environments preferred.
- Attributes : Self-driven, results-oriented individual with the ability to work autonomously.
- Location : Reside within the specified territory with a valid driver's license and authorization to work in the US.
