We’re looking for a Content Manager who wants to transform Developer Documents Experiences at PayPal Inc. In this role, you will manage a dynamic and strong team of technical writers to create and drive the Developer Docs and Content strategy for PayPal and its subsidiaries that will be consumed by millions of global developers to successfully get merchants onboarded.

The Developer Experiences team is part of the Merchant team within the Core Product & Engineering organization. The Developer Experiences team is committed to delivering the best experience for our global developers.
Our team designs end- to-end developer experiences, testing and tooling capabilities critical for our customers (developers) to build and go-live with PayPal’s payment integrations.

You will be a lead advocate and driver of the team in adopting Content Management systems and other technologies for creating and managing high quality and technically complex documents.
You will manage a dynamic and strong team of technical writers to create and drive the Developer Docs and Content strategy for PayPal and its subsidiaries, that will be consumed by millions of global developers to successfully get merchants onboarded.
Your day to day
In this role, you will,
Motivate and uplevel a dynamic and strong team of technical writers
Be a domain and thought leader in bringing best of industry innovation, best practices, processes and tools to the Developer Experiences team.
Dive deep into customer pain points and feedback and take a data and analytics driven approach towards creating and managing document experiences.
Manage cross-functional stakeholders with ability to set, manage and respond to diverse and multiple customer / stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders to make a large cross-company impact
What do you need to bring
8+ years of experience in the technical writing space, preferably in Fintech, Enterprise or SMB Software, Cloud / SaaS Technologies, Retail / Supply Chain industries
4+ years of people management experience
The ability to think deeply about document experiences for developer and balance with available resources and risks to synthesize a strong but workable vision for document-as-a-product
Experience and skill in operationalizing strategies and requirements.
Excellent Communication Skills
