*Pay rates within this range are determined based on various factors including experience, education, certifications, etc. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities : * Develop, maintain, and continuously improve material forecasting models using historical consumption, production schedules, customer demand, inventory levels, and market trends. * Utilize advanced analytical tools and statistical techniques to predict material requirements and optimize inventory strategies, including safety stock, reorder points, and min/max parameters. * Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and planning tools that enhance visibility into material demand, inventory health, supplier performance, and forecast accuracy. * Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for supply chain optimization. * Partner with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that improve material availability, inventory turns, service levels, and production continuity. * Monitor inventory consumption patterns and proactively recommend inventory adjustments to support changing production requirements. * Generate and manage material requisitions, track supplier commitments, and ensure timely delivery of critical production materials. * Collaborate with Procurement and Operations teams to mitigate material shortages, excess inventory, and supply chain disruptions. * Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to measure forecasting effectiveness, inventory performance, supplier reliability, and planning efficiency. * Ensure item master, routing, and Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy within the ERP system to support reliable planning and procurement activities. * Lead root cause analysis efforts related to inventory discrepancies, planning variances, forecast errors, and material shortages. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process automation, workflow optimization, and implementation of digital supply chain solutions. * Create and maintain business intelligence solutions utilizing reporting and visualization platforms to support operational and strategic decision-making. * Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for systems enhancements and process digitization. * Maintain strong communication with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure alignment on schedules, delivery commitments, and supply risks. * Occasionally travel to supplier locations to support supplier development and strengthen strategic partnerships. * Comply with all Plant policies and procedures, including EHS, Quality, Human Resources, and Code of Conduct requirements. Skills : * Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. * Demonstrated experience developing forecasting models, inventory optimization strategies, and supply chain analytics. * Experience building automated tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions using technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, VBA, Power Query, or similar platforms. * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Pivot, Power Query, complex formulas, and data modeling. * Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning methodologies. * Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, forecasting, and procurement processes. * Ability to independently manage projects while collaborating effectively across all organizational levels. * Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments and frequently engaging with shop floor operations.
