Job description

Piper Companies is hiring a Business Systems Analyst (SQL) for an insurance company located in Durham, NC. The Business Systems Analyst (SQL) needs to be able to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion. The Business Systems Analyst (SQL) will need to sit on site 3 days per week in Durham, NC. No sponsorship is available for this role.

Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst (SQL) :

Work with cross functional teams to develop system requirements and coordinate with other IT teams
Refine and document requirements, track them through development, test and deploy
Drive project execution and proactively report on project progress, risks and blockers
Use SQL to do direct hands on configuration, search for data, join tables, etc.

Requirements of the Business Systems Analyst (SQL) :

Bachelors Degree or higher is Required

5+ years working in IT applications support, software or database development or requirement gathering

Strong experience with FAST Policy Admin System

Strong technical and hands on skills with SQL

Experience working in the insurance domain (preferably life insurance and annuities) is preferred

Compensation for the Business Systems Analyst (SQL) :

100,000 - $130,000 plus bonus
