Cloud and Telecom Security Researcher

Key Role :

Conducts testing and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and potential threat vectors into systems and networks, develops exploits, and engineers attack methodologies.

Applies basic principles, theories, and concepts, limited industry knowledge. Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity, refers more complex issues to higher levels.

Works under direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications :

Experience with penetration testing or vulnerability research

Experience with programming in a language, including Python, Java, C or C++

Knowledge of cloud security

Knowledge of cellular technologies, including 4G LTE and 5G implementations

Active TS / SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS),Electrical Engineering (EE), orComputer Engineering (CE)

Additional Qualifications :

Knowledge of program analysis and formal methods

Knowledge of functional programming

Master’s degree

Clearance :

TS / SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
