This client in the financial services industry, is hiring an Application Development Manager to lead and evolve its enterprise banking software environment. The company supports a wide range of technologies including Jack Henry, MeridianLink, Encompass, and Alkami, making this a great fit for someone with a background in financial technology leadership.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology strategy and people development. You’ll lead a team of developers and analysts while working closely with executive leadership to drive product and project delivery across multiple platforms. Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience working with core financial systems such as Jack Henry (Symitar, Synergy, SymXchange, ARCU, Synapsys), MeridianLink, Encompass, Alkami, COTS, Image Center, OpCon, etc.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, version control, and quality assurance practices
Proven track record in technical leadership and team management, including coaching and career development
Ability to partner with and influence senior / executive leadership on technology initiatives
Solid grasp of agile and iterative project management methodologies, including backlog prioritization and sprint planning
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Hands-on development experience with Symitar, PowerOn, RepGEN, or similar core banking tools
Familiarity with IBM AIX operating systems
Working knowledge of SQL, HTML, and JavaScript for system integration and customization
Exposure to the ITIL framework and experience implementing repeatable engineering processes, templates, or best practices
