Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role focuses on designing, building, and releasing APIs for a platform onboarding portal. The ideal candidate will work with container technologies like Kubernetes, develop automation tools, and collaborate with a geographically dispersed team to ensure the reliability and scalability of enterprise platforms. This position has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and release APIs supporting platform onboarding portal
• Perform code reviews
• Work on controllers and tools for integrating enterprise shared services into the Kubernetes ecosystem
• Focus on implementation and adoption of Container technologies and best practices for automation, deployment, configuration, and monitoring
• Work with project teams to ensure proper design and infrastructure patterns for high availability and failover
• Develop and build automation tools and processes to support development and production environments
• Work collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer building distributed enterprise platforms with a focus on performance, scale, security, and reliability
• Experience developing applications using twelve-factor design patterns
• API development experience using Go, Python, or Java
• Front-End development experience using React, AngularJS, Vue.js or similar
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) practices and automation tools
• Experience in containers and Kubernetes-based container orchestration technologies

Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06
