The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Computer Scientist to work in Honolulu, HI. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the INDOPACOM J2 JIOC mission. The primary location for this effort is at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii.

Computer Scientist Responsibilities :
Employing advanced scientific techniques to analyze complex data and create narrative products.
Developing and utilizing machine learning algorithms to support intelligence missions.
Integrating algorithms and making recommendations for data management within constraints.
Employing data science techniques for predictive analysis and strategy development.
Preparing documentation and products to describe findings.
Supporting automated collection criteria and developing innovative processes to close intelligence gaps.
Assisting in integrating new technology into operational architectures.
Recommending changes to collection management processes based on emerging technologies.
Clearance Required :
Current TS / SCI Clearance.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education :
Bachelors degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of relevant experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).
Demonstrated expertise in applying mathematics, statistics, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, and / or machine learning to complex data sets.
Experience developing, integrating, or coding machine learning and data mining algorithms, including predictive modeling and open-source frameworks.
Proficiency in scientific programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or similar, and experience with data warehousing, data compression, and data protection techniques.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education :
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Prior experience with large data Multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics.
Broad understanding of computer science and expertise in its application across the TCPED process.
Experience applying scientific methods and technical tradecraft across intelligence requirements.

Pay Range :
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
