Job description: * Develop, implement, and maintain Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs). * Perform routine job site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments. * Lead pre-task planning meetings, toolbox talks, and daily safety briefings. * Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and develop corrective action plans. * Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and client-specific safety requirements. * Coordinate employee safety orientations and ongoing safety training. * Maintain safety documentation, reports, inspection records, and compliance metrics. * Partner with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to foster a culture of safety and accountability. Qualifications: * 13 years of construction safety experience in commercial and/or industrial projects. * Mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing construction experience preferred. * Experience developing Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs). * Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices. * Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting software. * Ability to work effectively with field personnel and project management teams. * Preferred Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour Construction (OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 preferred), First Aid/CPR Certification, CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or other construction safety certifications are a plus. * Preferred Industry Background: Commercial Construction, Industrial Construction, Mechanical Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, Design-Build Contractors, MEP Contractors.
