An organization providing outpatient treatment for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant for a remote, temporary-to-permanent position that may require occasional, company paid travel.

The organization provides treatment solely funded by California Medicaid (Medi-Cal) and has locations in and between San Francisco and San Jose. They use MIP Fund Accounting software and Ramp for expense management. While this opportunity starts as a consulting position, there is a "high probability" it will be moved into a permanent position. When offered as a full-time opportunity, it will included a competitive compensation package with full benefits beginning the 1st day of the following month of hire (ex. November 18th hire = December 1st benefits OR December 2nd hire = January 1st benefits) and generous time off policy for holiday, sick days and vacation.

Candidates Will Have :

• Accounting experience with a focus on tax and audit at a non-profit organization
• 5+ years experience in an accounting leadership role in a position such as Director of Finance, Vice President of Finance, Controller or other Senior Accounting role
• 8+ years experience in an accounting position
• Past experience in behavioral health or healthcare is strongly preferred
