We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) with 3–5 years of experience supporting enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SQL Server (2008–2022) administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, as well as exposure to high availability/disaster recovery solutions. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity, availability, and security across the organization’s systems.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and optimize SQL Server (2008–2022) databases.
Develop, deploy, and tune SSIS packages for ETL and data integration.
Implement and manage High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions including Always On, Log Shipping, Clustering, and Replication.
Ensure compliance with database security best practices, including encryption and regulatory standards.
Support logical and physical database design, creation, and maintenance.
Manage backups, recovery, and failover processes.
Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
Support data warehouse integration initiatives.
Provide additional administration for MySQL databases as needed.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability and performance.
Mandatory Skills
Extensive hands-on experience with SQL Server (2008–2022).
Strong expertise in SSIS development, deployment, and tuning.
Proficiency in HA/DR solutions: Always On, Log Shipping, Clustering, Replication.
In-depth knowledge of database security best practices (encryption, compliance).
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex database environments.
Desirable Skills
Experience with PowerShell scripting for database automation.
Familiarity with data warehouse integration processes.
Experience with MySQL administration.
Knowledge of monitoring and performance tools (SQL Profiler, Extended Events, third-party solutions).
Exposure to Agile development and DevOps practices.
