Summary: A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the PICU provides specialized respiratory care for critically ill pediatric patients. The therapist assesses, monitors, and manages patients’ airway and breathing needs, collaborates with the healthcare team, and operates advanced respiratory equipment to support life-saving interventions.
