Job Title : Database Administrator- Expert (Remote) Location : Durham, NC Duration : 12+ Months Job Description : The client needs IT support to address a pending vacancy due to retirement.  This position will be responsible continuity of business operations as it relates to an existing SQL database, MS Access frontend and SQL Data Portal.  Additionally, the organization is preparing to update existing data systems and needs assistance to inventory the existing SQL Server and MS Access data systems to improve readiness for future development. Description of duties (including, but not limited to) : Data analysis and database management Maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning (Logical) Administration of application objects within database; maintenance of business requirements for database, database schema, data maps, ERDs, application objects (i.e., tables, indexes, views, etc.) and performance of database application tuning. Inventory and catalog existing SQL and MS Access data systems Create adhoc reports and edit existing reports for end users as requested Support existing applications and workflows. Skills :   Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience SQL server administration Required 7 Years SQL Database design and development, generate reports.
