The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a contract Senior Salesforce Developer to design and deliver end to end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud. This role supports mission critical public sector programs across case management, licensing, service operations, and related workflows. The position ensures all solutions align with program objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and long term platform strategy while leveraging both declarative and programmatic capabilities to build scalable, maintainable systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and engineering: Lead integration designs, blueprinting and configuration strategies.
Development: Develop client, Lightning Web Components, Flows, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and system integrations following established engineering practices and platform governance.
Discovery and requirements: Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and program stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend best fit approaches.
Release management readiness: Review Salesforce Spring, Summer, and Winter release notes to identify breaking changes, deprecations, new settings, and feature impacts. Assess how platform updates affect existing systems, integrations, and guide teams through required remediation.
Coordination and communication: Collaborate with vendors, product owners, administrators, QA teams, and business stakeholders to plan and execute updates, enhancements, and cross-team deliverables.
