Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Clinical Psychologist to support our mission with the U.S. Special Operations Command through the Health Research and Analytics (HRA) business line. This role is essential in advancing the Preservation of the Forces and Family (POTFF) program, aimed at enhancing the readiness, longevity, and performance of Special Operations Forces. Your expertise and contributions will have a direct impact on improving the lives of SOF personnel and their families in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and provide diagnosis and treatment based on established clinical guidelines. You’ll support both individuals and groups, aiding in the rehabilitation and coping strategies for patients facing medical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychological evaluations with information derived from clinical interviews, testing, and collateral sources.
- Diagnose according to the American Psychiatric Association’s DSM and deliver psychological treatments for individual and group therapy, assisting patients through medical rehabilitation.
- Work in accordance with the ethical guidelines of your state licensing board, American Psychological Association standards, and MTF privileges.
