Riverside Medical Clinic is the best place to work, practice medicine, and receive care. Summary: Responsible for covering clinical offices based on operational need. Assists in the examination of patients under the direction of a physician or allied health professional, and in accordance with M.A. scope of practice. Thorough knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques. Responsible for maintaining smooth patient flow by accurate assessment of patients' needs, thorough attention to physician orders and properly scheduling and follow-up of tests and procedures performed on patient. Act as an intermediary between physician and patients when necessary to more appropriately use the physician time.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Hours: 8:30AM- 5:30PM Qualifications Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED required. One (1) year medical group experience preferred. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Medical Assistant Certification and Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association certification required.
