Job Description
This role is a manufacturing-floor–focused Industrial Engineer responsible for establishing and validating labor standards, routings, and time studies to support accurate costing and continuous improvement. The position partners closely with Finance and Operations in a high-volume production environment.
Responsibilities Include
- Spend the majority of time on the manufacturing floor observing and evaluating builds.
- Conduct time studies and validate routing times.
- Develop, standardize, and maintain manufacturing routings and labor standards.
- Partner with Finance to build and refine labor and product costs.
- Evaluate manufacturing builds and recommend process improvements.
- Identify and implement Lean / Continuous Improvement opportunities.
- Support electro-mechanical product manufacturing.
- Improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in high-volume production lines.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years industrial engineering experience.
- Experience working electro-mechanical environments.
- Job shop or build-type manufacturing experience.
- Exposure to Lean principles.
Nice to Have
- Manual assembly or industrial equipment manufacturing experience.
- Bachelors degree is preferred but not required.
Work Environment
- Very floor-heavy role

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Valley View, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41.00 - $46.00/hr.
