Insurance / Commercial Litigation Attorney

Our client, a leading regional law firm with a large presence in Denver is looking for a 3-plus years experienced litigation attorney who can support their insurance and coverage practice group. An ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation, including fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations, communicating with opposing counsel and clients, and appearing in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings. Prior law firm and insurance coverage experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
• Admission to Colorado bar (lateral candidates from other jurisdictions will need to waive into CO or sit for the next bar exam)
• Ability to interface directly with clients
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organization skills
• Outstanding judgment
