Aseptic Processing Technician
The Aseptic Processing Technician is responsible for supporting sterile filling and compounding departments. This role involves parts cleaning, preparing parts and supplies for sterilization by operating autoclave and other cleaning equipment, and assisting with the preparation of disinfectant solutions. Tasks are performed in both class 10,000 areas and non-classified clean room areas, requiring varying levels of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities
- Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Clean rooms including floors, walls, and equipment using aseptic techniques.
- Clean equipment and parts, including disassembly and reassembly of parts as directed.
- Operate equipment to sanitize and sterilize parts, equipment, and components following SOP.
- Complete required logbook entries and associated batch documentation.
- Obtain materials, perform check-in procedures, and handle associated paperwork.
- Assist with maintaining uniform stock for cleanroom garments; prepare, ship, and receive cleanroom garments.
- Wear appropriate PPE in accordance with established procedures.

Work Environment
Work is conducted in a clean room environment. The hours are 12 PM to 10:30 PM, typically Monday to Thursday, with a 10% differential for working the 2nd shift. Training occurs on the 1st shift, Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM. During mandatory training, the schedule is Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM. Various levels of PPE are required depending on the task location.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $45760.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
