In addition, the Order Picker will operate a cherry picker to build and send appropriate orders and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products.
Essential Job Functions: (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there is a limited number of employees whom performance of the function can be distributed.)
- Receive and check incoming pick tickets
- Locate products using our tablets
- Operate a cherry picker to retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
- Utilize basic math skills to accurately determine the number of boxes to be retrieved, considering both the order size and the quantity of items in each box
- Build pallets with orders and position them in warehouse delivery station
- Stock returned inventory using cherry picker
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
- Ensure cherry picker is charging at the end of each shift
- Perform cycle counting, when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area including performing general housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, etc.
- Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work
- Reliable, regular attendance is essential
- Performs duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or Supervisor

Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or other warehouse position, preferred
- Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment, highly preferred
- Experience in voice picking systems or RF devices, preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
- Great attention to detail
- Diligent and punctual
- Good physical strength and stamina
