Strategic Command Information Technology Lifecycle Support (SCITLS) Contract Support

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

The work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). USSTRATCOM is one of eleven Combatant Commands, and is responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. The Strategic Command Information Technology Lifecycle Support (SCITLS) contract supporting USSTRATCOM's J6 is a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

You will play a crucial role in providing support in the following areas:

  • Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program to include Travel and Expense Report processing.
  • Writes and updates standard operating procedures for local Program Administrative support processes.
  • Develops plans and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for Employees in assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR)
  • Coordinates with other team members to provide cross-functional support as needed.
  • Assist with timekeeping monitoring, accuracy and completion
  • Provides meeting minute support at required Customer meetings, including Contract Deliverable submissions
  • Interacts regularly with program employees and customers to ensure conformance with corporate, program and customer requirements.
  • Serves as liaison between program employees and host base support units.
  • Acts as primary POC for support to new employees during all phases of in-processing and onboarding.
  • Provides out-processing support for employees leaving the site. May perform business development activities.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Provides direct administrative support to on-ground Senior Program Manager, as required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 5 years of work experience.
  • BA/BS may substitute additional years of experience
  • Required Certifications: ITIL Foundations 4 Certificate within 9 months
  • Security Clearance Level: Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI status
  • Location: Offutt AFB, NE
  • Must have effective organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint desired.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can independently work and collaborate with other teams.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to put together and organize large amounts of information.

The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $90,850. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
