About the Role

The BluePrint Program Supervisor is responsible for supervising and overseeing daily operations of the BluePrint Program, MERS Goodwill’s internal employee support program designed to promote well-being, retention, and growth. BluePrint helps employees break down barriers, build stability, and achieve their goals, personally and professionally. The Supervisor ensures timely, confidential, and high-quality support services by providing direct supervision, staff training, coaching, and quality assurance. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Supervisor implements program policies and procedures, monitors service delivery, supports staff development, and promotes consistent program practices across the region. The Supervisor routinely travels to the St. Louis region for training, meetings, operational updates, and collaboration to ensure consistent delivery across all locations.

Qualifications

  • Training, Education, and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Public Administration, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in case management, workforce development, employee assistance, behavior health, human services, or a related field. Minimum of two years of supervisory, team lead, or management experience preferred. Demonstrated experience training, coaching, and developing staff. Experience working with confidential employee or client information. Experience monitoring documentation quality, compliance, and program operations.
  • Computer and Software: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications required; case management software experience preferred.
  • License, Skills, and Certifications: Valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required. Frequent travel throughout the Kansas/Western Missouri region. Routine travel to St. Louis. Ability to obtain/maintain certifications is required, such as Mental Health First Aid and Financial Health Counselor. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Flexible schedule availability to meet employees during shifts.
  • Physical and Sensory Demands: Occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds. Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Work is routinely performed in a variety of work environments including some non-temperature-controlled environments.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

Program Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day BluePrint operations for the assigned region, ensuring referrals are assigned and responded to within program timelines and that caseloads and workloads are distributed for timely, effective service delivery.
  • Conduct routine case file audits and review assessments, case notes, plans, and case closures to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with documentation, confidentiality, and program standards.
  • Monitor regional performance indicators such as referrals, enrollments, engagement, follow-up activity, case closures, required employee contact, and follow-up schedules.
  • Identify operational concerns, recommend improvements to the Program Manager, and support implementation of new procedures and initiatives.

Employee Support Services:

  • Carry a caseload of employees, delivering direct BluePrint support to remain involved in service delivery and model best practices for the team.
  • Ensure delivery of professional, trauma-informed, employee-centered case management, and provide guidance on complex situations involving financial hardship, housing, transportation, mental health, career development, and work-life balance.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with site leadership, Human Resources, community partners, and internal departments.
  • Educate leaders and employees on the purpose, confidentiality, and voluntary nature of the program, and represent BluePrint at meetings, trainings, presentations, and engagement activities.

Staff Supervision, Development & Training:

  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentorship to Specialists, conducting regular one-on-ones and meetings.
  • Observe staff during appointments, assessments, and intake meetings to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Enforce performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, complete evaluations, and assist with performance improvement and corrective action plans when needed.
  • Address attendance, communication, performance, and compliance concerns.
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding, ongoing training, and refresher coaching on confidentiality, community resources, and case management best practices.
  • Identify learning needs through observation, file reviews, and performance metrics.
