Job descriptionLead and manage the operations of the chest pain program, focusing on regulatory and accreditation compliance. Facilitate communication between physicians, nursing staff, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care. Evaluate and enhance the quality of care delivered in the chest pain program, applying performance improvement strategies. Develop and disseminate educational materials and programs addressing chest pain prevention and care for various audiences. Collect, analyze, and report program data, ensuring adherence to registry requirements while utilizing data for program enhancements. Implement training programs for clinical staff to guarantee adherence to best practice protocols. Regularly review and update policies and procedures to align with current best practices and organizational standards. Monitor compliance to ensure timely resolution of issues related to program performance. Perform additional duties as required. Adhere to all organizational policies and standards. 2-4 years of clinical experience in cardiac or critical care settings. 1-2 years of experience in program coordination or quality improvement initiatives. Extensive knowledge of chest pain treatment protocols and quality improvement methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Skilled in data analysis and registry reporting relevant to program performance. Ability to create and facilitate educational programs tailored to various audiences. Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards pertaining to chest pain care. Strong organizational and project management skills for program oversight. RN - Registered Nurse certification - State or Compact State Licensure required. BCLS - Basic Life Support certification required within 90 days of employment. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
